pharmachologic effect

Cholagogue. Stimulates the synthesis of bile acids. Facilitates the exit of bile into the duodenum.

Reflexively increases the secretory and motor activity of the digestive tract, reducing the processes of decay and fermentation in the intestine.

Indications for use

Chronic hepatitis, cholangitis, cholecystitis, habitual constipation due to intestinal atony.

Dosage and administration

Inside, 1-2 tablets 3-4 times a day after meals for 3-4 weeks. With an exacerbation of the disease, the drug is taken 1 tablet 2-3 times a day for 1-2 months.

Children under 7 years old   take 1 tablet, over 7 years old – 2 tablets 3 times a day (after meals) for 3-4 weeks. The course of treatment can be repeated 2-3 times with a break of 3 months.  

Side effects

Digestion and allergic reactions. In these cases, the drug is canceled.

Contraindications

Peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, acute and subacute degeneration of the liver, acute hepatitis. Use with caution in obstructive jaundice.
