pharmachologic effect

Absorbent hemostatic agent for topical use.

Indications for use

As a supportive therapy to achieve hemostasis and tissue adhesion during surgical interventions, to strengthen surgical sutures and in cases when it is impossible to stop bleeding by traditional methods or when the effectiveness of such methods is insufficient during surgery.

Method of administration and dosage

Local only. Tachocomb should be applied to wound surfaces under sterile conditions during surgery. Do not use intravascularly . The size of the applied preparation plate is determined individually. The drug must be used only under sterile conditions. Before applying the plate, the wound surface should be as clean as possible (for example, from blood, disinfectants and other liquids).

In case of severe bleeding, the plates can be used without preliminary additional moistening, also gently pressing against the wound surface for 3-5 minutes. It is necessary that the plate completely cover the wound surface, protruding 1–2 cm beyond the edge of the wound. If more than 1 plate is used, they must overlap. If necessary, the plate can be cut.
