pharmachologic effect
The drug has expectorant and decongestant properties.
Indications for use
Acute and chronic inflammation of the nasal mucosa with a thick purulent – mucous secretion.
Dosage and administration
The drug is injected into the nasal cavity in the form of an aerosol.
Adults: 2 doses of aerosol (2 presses on the valve) in each nasal passage 3-4 times a day.
Children: 1 dose of aerosol (1 press) in each nasal passage 3-4 times a day. The duration of treatment should not exceed 7 days. Do not exceed the recommended dose and course of treatment without consulting a doctor.
Side effects
Allergic reactions, agitation, palpitations, increased blood pressure, trembling, urinary retention, dry mucous membranes of the nasal cavity, mouth and pharynx, inflammation of the sebaceous glands.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to one of the components of the drug, angle-closure glaucoma, thyrotoxicosis. The drug should not be used during treatment and for 2 weeks after the end of treatment with antidepressants (MAO inhibitors).
Overdose
Symptoms . Excitement, tremor, increased blood pressure, increased heart rate, anxiety. There is no specific antidote, therefore, treatment is aimed at eliminating the symptoms.
