pharmachologic effect
It has a bronchodilating , antispasmodic effect. Relaxes the smooth muscles of blood vessels and internal organs.
Indications for use
Broncho obstructive syndrome in bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, emphysema
Dosage and administration
Children 6-12 years old : 0.5 tablets 2-3 times a day; adults and children over 12 years : 1 tablet 2-3 times a day. The average daily dose is 800-1200 mg.
Side effects
Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, backward flow of stomach and esophagus contents, rarely diarrhea, heaviness in the abdomen, irritability, headache, insomnia, dizziness, tremor, arrhythmia, palpitations, rapid breathing, increased blood sugar, protein appearance in urine, rarely anaphylactic shock.
Contraindications
Pregnancy, lactation, age up to 6 years, hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, acute myocardial infarction, arterial hypotension, hereditary forms of galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or glucose – galactose malabsorption syndrome .
Overdose
Symptoms Cardiac arrhythmias, convulsions, severe emotional arousal, increased daily urine volume, increased manifestations of side effects.
There is no specific antidote.
Treatment . Symptomatic therapy of heart failure, anticonvulsant therapy.
