Pharmacological action
The components of passionflower extract inhibit the conduction of nerve impulses in the spinal cord and brain, reduce the excitability of the central nervous system and have a calming, anticonvulsant effect. The drug improves mood in depressive states, reduces anxiety and mental tension, has a mild hypnotic effect without the symptom of depression when waking up.
Indications for use
Neurotic and depressive states, stress, anxiety, irritability, sleep disorders, menopausal and pre-menopausal period.
The drug is effective for vegetative symptoms of diseases of the nervous system.
Dosage and administration method
Pills. For adults and children over 12 years of age: to achieve a sedative effect, take 1 tablet 3 times a day before meals. For sleep disorders-2-3 tablets 1 time a day for 1 hour before bedtime.
The duration of treatment is determined individually. Do not exceed the recommended single dose.
Syrup. For adults to achieve a sedative effect, take 5-10 ml of syrup (1-2 tsp) 3 times a day before meals. For sleep disorders – 10 ml (2 tsp) before bedtime.
For children over 3 years old assign 2.5 ml (0.5 tsp) 2-3 times a day.
