pharmachologic effect
Topical application causes a reduction of intraocular pressure in people with little effect on the heart – vascular and respiratory system.
Indications for use
Open – angle glaucoma, increased eye pressure.
Method of administration and dosage
Apply topically . It is instilled into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye, 1 drop 3 times a day with an interval between injections of 8 hours.
Side effects
A burning sensation or sharp pain and / or impaired vision after instillation.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug, simultaneous therapy with MAO inhibitors, pregnancy and lactation, age up to 2 years, low body weight (up to 20 kg).
Overdose
Allergic conjunctivitis, hyperemia of the conjunctiva of the eyes, itching of the mucous membrane of the eyes and skin of the eyelids.
