Complex antihemorrhoidal drug.
It has anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic and local anesthetic effect.
Indications for use
Used to treat patients suffering from anal fissures and hemorrhoids.
Dosage and administration
The drug is intended for rectal use. Before using the drug, it is recommended to wash your hands thoroughly and clean the skin around the anus. The duration of the course of treatment and the dose of the drug is determined by the attending physician individually for each patient. Adults and adolescents over 14 years of age are prescribed 1 suppository 1-3 times a day. If necessary, the dose may be increased. The maximum daily dose of the drug is 10 suppositories.
Side effects
In isolated cases, mainly in patients with increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug, dryness of the oral mucosa, stool disorders, and thirst may develop.
Contraindications
Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug; prostate adenoma; glaucoma; children under 14; period of pregnancy and lactation; patients whose work is related to the management of potentially dangerous mechanisms and driving a car.
Overdose
When using excessive doses of the drug in patients, pupil dilation was noted, as well as the development of dryness of the oral mucosa, tachycardia, stool disorders and thirst. In severe overdose, patients developed delirium with psychomotor agitation.
