pharmachologic effect
Combined antitussive, promotes expectoration of sputum.
Indications for use
Unproductive cough in diseases of the lungs and respiratory tract in adults and children older than 2 years.
Dosage and administration
Children 2–5 years old: 0.3–1 tablets 2 times a day; children 5-10 years old: 0.5-1 tablet 3 times a day; children 10-12 years old: 1-3 tablets 3 times a day; adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet 2-3 times a day.
Side effects
Allergic reactions in the form of skin itching, eczema, such as urticaria, nausea, vomiting, constipation, headache, drowsiness.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, pulmonary failure, acute asthma attack, age up to 2 years, pregnancy, lactation.
Overdose
Symptoms . Drowsiness, headaches, nausea, vomiting, constipation, atony of the bladder, impaired coordination of eyeball movement with impaired vision, oppression of the respiratory center, arrhythmia, bradycardia.
