pharmachologic effect
Reduces the secretion of gastric juice due to a specifically targeted mechanism of action.
Indications for use
Gastroesophageal reflux disease; in combination with antibacterial agents for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori; treatment of duodenal ulcer associated with Helicobacter pylori; prevention of recurrence of peptic ulcers in patients with ulcers associated with Helicobacter pylori; treatment and prevention of the ulcerative process caused by prolonged use of NSAIDs; treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
Method of administration and dosage
20-40 mg once a day. Powder for preparation of a solution for injection and infusion is indicated for antisecretory therapy, in cases where the oral route of administration is impossible.
Side effects
Abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, bloating, nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, stomatitis, candidiasis of the digestive tract, allergic reactions.
Contraindications
For parenteral administration – children under 18 years old, for oral administration – children under 12 years old.
