pharmachologic effect
Means of plant origin. The pharmacological effect is due to the action of a complex of biologically active substances that are part of the leaves of the artichoke field ( Cynara scolymus ). It has a choleretic, hepatoprotective and diuretic effect, reduces the urea content in the blood. Improves metabolic processes in the body.
Indications for use
Chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis of the liver; chronic non-calculous cholecystitis, biliary dyskinesia according to the hypokinetic type, chronic nephritis, chronic renal failure, obesity, atherosclerosis.
Dosage and administration
The drug is taken before meals.
Pills. Children 6-12 years old: 1 tablet 3 times a day; children over 12 years old: 1-2 tablets 3 times a day; adults: 1-2 tablets 3 times a day.
R – r oral. Children over 12 years old: 0.5–1 tsp. r – RA, divorced in 1 tbsp. l water 3 times a day 20 minutes before meals; adults 1 h. l. (5 ml r – ra) 3 times a day. Tablets are not prescribed for children under 6 years of age.
P – p is not prescribed for children under 12 years of age. Before use, the preparation in the form of p – ra must be shaken and diluted with water. If necessary, the doctor may prescribe a drug in the form of drops for the treatment of children under the age of 6 years. The course of treatment is determined by the doctor individually. The average duration of treatment is 2-3 weeks. Perhaps a second appointment of the drug.
Side effects
Diarrhea, abdominal cramps, indigestion, nausea, heartburn, urticaria, skin rash, hyperemia, itching.
Contraindications
Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug, obstruction of the biliary tract, cholangitis, empyema of the gallbladder, gallstone disease or other diseases of the biliary tract, acute liver disease, severe liver failure; urinary obstruction, acute kidney disease.
Overdose
In case of an overdose, side effects may intensify.
