pharmachologic effect
Myotropic antispasmodic with selective action on the smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract. Eliminates spasm without affecting normal intestinal motility.
Indications for use
Adults and children over the age of 10 years for the symptomatic treatment of pain, spasms, intestinal disorders and discomfort in the intestines with irritable bowel syndrome; for the treatment of gastro – intestinal spasm secondary genesis caused by organic diseases.
Dosage and administration
For oral use.
Adults and children over 10 years of age take 1 capsule 2 times a day 20 minutes before meals. Drink a capsule with plenty of water. The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor individually.
Side effects
Allergic reactions: itching, rash, urticaria, angioedema, swelling of the face.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the inactive components of the drug. Paralytic ileus .
Overdose
Symptoms With an overdose, CNS excitation is possible. In cases of overdose, the symptoms are either absent or the lungs quickly disappear. Reported symptoms of overdose are symptoms of neurological or cardiovascular origin. The specific antidote is unknown.
Treatment. Gastric lavage and symptomatic treatment are recommended. Gastric lavage is recommended only in case of intoxication with numerous drugs and if intoxication has been diagnosed within 1 hour from the time of taking the medication. Measures to reduce absorption are not necessary.
