pharmachologic effect
It has anti- bronchoconstrictive and anti-inflammatory properties.
Indications for use
Acute and chronic inflammatory processes of the ENT organs and respiratory tract, as part of the complex treatment of AD; seasonal and year-round allergic rhinitis and other manifestations of allergy from the respiratory system and ENT organs; respiratory manifestations of measles, flu; symptomatic treatment of whooping cough.
Dosage and administration
For oral administration. Assign to children aged 2 years and adults. The daily dose should be divided into 2-3 doses and taken before meals.
Children from the age of 2 years: 4 mg / kg body weight (2 ml / kg). If body weight <10 kg, the daily dose is 2–4 tsp. syrup (10–20 ml). If body weight> 10 kg, the daily dose is 2–4 tbsp. l syrup (30-60 ml).
Adults and children over 12 years old: 3–6 tbsp. l (45–90 ml). For adults, the drug is prescribed in tablets. The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor individually.
Side effects
Drowsiness, dizziness, allergic reactions.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug, the period of pregnancy and lactation, age up to 2 years.
Overdose
Symptoms . Drowsiness or agitation, nausea, vomiting, sinus tachycardia.
Treatment. Gastric lavage, ECG monitoring, symptomatic therapy.
