pharmachologic effect
A drug with a pronounced anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic effect.
Indications for use
Headache, toothache, neuralgia, lumbago, sciatica, sciatica, osteoarthrosis , rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis; diseases of joints and spine, soft tissue, febrile condition, acute musculo – skeletal pain, tendonitis , bursitis, post-operative pain, dysmenorrhea.
Dosage and administration
Depends on the nature and course of the disease, tolerance and effectiveness of the drug. Adults and children over the age of 6 years – 1 tablet 2-3 times a day after meals. The course of treatment is 5-7 days and depends on the dynamics of symptoms. The maximum daily dose for adults is 3 tablets per day.
Side effects
Thrombocytopenia, neutropenia , leukopenia, aplastic anemia, agranulocytosis , pancytopenia , sulfhemoglobinemia and methemoglobinemia , hemolytic anemia (especially for patients with glucose – 6 deficiency – phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency); hypersensitivity reactions, anaphylactic / anaphylactoid reactions, including hypotension and anaphylactic shock; angioedema (including facial edema).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug, acute gastric ulcer or bowel, gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation, during pregnancy and lactation, severe liver, kidney or heart failure, impaired hematopoiesis of unclear origin, leukopenia, significant anemia, congenital hyperbilirubinemia , glucose deficiency – 6 – phosphate dehydrogenase , age up to 14 years. Attacks of bronchial asthma (AD), urticaria, or acute rhinitis in response to the use of acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti – inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Overdose
Symptoms Hypotension, respiratory depression, convulsions, renal failure, disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, vomiting, gastro – intestinal bleeding, diarrhea, dizziness, ringing in the ears. In the case of severe poisoning, the development of acute renal failure (ARF) and liver damage is possible.
Treatment. Urgent measures of supportive and symptomatic therapy.
