Combined membrane-stabilizing, hepatoprotective and antiviral drugs.

Indications for use

Viral hepatitis, steatohepatosis, steatohepatitis, toxic liver damage, cirrhosis, intoxication, psoriasis, neurodermatitis, eczema.

Dosage and administration

Capsules   Apply inside. Adults and children over the age of 12 years   take 1-2 capsules 3-4 times a day with meals with a small amount of liquid. The course of treatment for acute diseases is 30 days, for chronic liver damage – at least 6 months. 

Lyophilisate for preparation of r – ra.   It is indicated for adults and children over 12 years of age   in / in, after dissolving the powder in 10 ml of water for injection. It is administered slowly, at 10 ml, 2 times a day, in the morning and in the evening, for 10 days, followed by switching to taking the oral form of the drug in the form of capsules. The course of treatment may be extended.  

Side effects

The appearance of a skin rash that disappears after discontinuation of the drug is possible. If the technique of iv administration is not followed and the solution enters the subcutaneous fat, hyperemia, swelling, and pain are possible.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, the period of pregnancy and lactation, age up to 12 years. Used with caution in patients with portal hypertension.

Overdose

Not marked.

Glycyrrhizic acid, which is part of the drug, in high doses can cause a pseudocorticosteroid effect, which is manifested by an increase in the level of glucocorticoids and mineralocorticoids in the blood. This leads to a delay in sodium and a decrease in potassium in the body. 

When these symptoms appear, it is necessary to reduce the dose of the drug and / or prescribe spironolactone 50-100 mg per day.
