Dosage and administration
Apply inside, during or after a meal, drinking plenty of liquid.
For the prevention of angina attacks, on the ‑1st and 2nd day of therapy, 1–2 mg (0.5–1 tablet) is prescribed 4–6 times a day.
The dosage regimen is individual and depends on the type, stage of the disease, and the severity of clinical symptoms. The daily dose is usually 2-4 mg (1-2 tablets), divided into 2 equal doses. Sometimes it is increased to 6-8 mg (3-4 tablets), divided into 3-4 doses. The maximum daily dose is 12 mg.
Side effects
Headache and dizziness, fatigue, lack of appetite, hypotension, palpitations. Skin reactions, bronchospasm.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug; acute attack of angina pectoris; a pronounced decrease in blood pressure; previous myocardial infarction; cardiogenic shock; severe renal failure; During pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Overdose
Symptoms. Severe headache, arterial hypotension, tachycardia.
Treatment. In the case of taking a dose that is significantly higher than the usual single dose, and if no more than 1 hour has passed after ingestion, it is necessary to wash the stomach.
