pharmachologic effect

Reduces capillary permeability and exhibits a venotonic effect. It acts anti-inflammatory on perivenous tissues, reduces capillary fragility and exhibits a certain antiplatelet effect. Reduces swelling.

Indications for use

Symptomatic treatment of venous insufficiency; varicose and pre- varicose syndromes; superficial thrombophlebitis, phlebitis; post- phlebitis conditions; complex therapy of hemorrhoidal diseases; soft tissue rheumatism: tendovaginitis, bursitis, fibrositis, periarthritis; edema after surgical interventions; contusions, dislocations, sprains.

Dosage and administration

Applied externally: 4-5 cm of the gel is applied 3-4 times a day with a thin layer on the affected areas with light massage movements. The total daily dose should not exceed 20 cm. The duration of treatment is no more than 10 days.

Side effects

In solitary cases, skin irritation reactions are observed in the form of redness, itching, rash, which quickly disappear after discontinuation of the drug.

Contraindications

Individual intolerance. Hypersensitivity to NSAIDs.

Overdose

There have been no cases of overdose with topical application of the drug.

With long-term treatment (over 10 days), it is necessary to monitor for possible manifestations of systemic effects – hepatotoxicity , severe headache, hemorrhage. It is necessary to control the leukocyte and platelet formula.
