pharmachologic effect

Oppresses the stimulation of the vestibular apparatus in case of dizziness and motion sickness. It has antiallergic, local anesthetic, antiemetic effect.

Indications for use

Prevention of motion sickness in transport, treatment of Meniere’s disease , prevention and treatment of vestibular disorders of a different genesis. Nausea and vomiting of various origins.

Method of administration and dosage

Inside, the recommended dose for adults   is 50-100 mg 2-3 times a day. Children from 1 year to 6 years old – 12.5-25 mg 3 times a day, children 7-12 years old – 25-50 mg 3 times a day.       

To prevent motion sickness in transport, the drug should be taken 30 minutes before the start of the trip. The maximum daily dose for adults should not exceed 300-400 mg, and for children – 150-200 mg.   

Side effects

Dizziness, headache, general weakness, impaired accommodation, dry mouth, nausea.

Contraindications

Individual intolerance. Pregnancy and lactation period, age up to 1 year.
