pharmachologic effect

It has antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory effects on the liver and biliary tract. Prevents stone formation.

Indications for use

Acute and chronic diseases of the liver and biliary tract. Used in the complex treatment of chronic pancreatitis and gallstone disease. As a hepatoprotective agent when taking antibiotics, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, analgesic drugs and alcohol. 

Dosage and administration

The drug must be taken 30 minutes before or 1 hour after a meal. The tablets are kept in the mouth until completely resorbed. For children under 5 years of age, it is advisable to dissolve the drug in 1 tbsp. l water. 

Recommended single dose:

Drops. From birth to 1 year : 1 drop; 2–4 years : 2–4 drops; 5–12 years:   5–7 drops; children> 12 years old and adults:   10 drops.  

Tablets . 5-12 years: 0.5 tablets; children over 12 years old and adults: 1 tablet. 

Multiplicity of reception:

1-2 – day: drop – up to 8 times a day; tablets – up to 4 times a day. 3 – day treatment and beyond: drops – 3 times a day; tablets – 2 times a day.      

The course of treatment: from 2 weeks to 3 months. If necessary, the course of treatment can be repeated after 1 month.

Side effects

Allergic reactions are possible.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug.

Overdose

There are no undesirable effects in case of overdose.
